Millions of people travel between African cities every day for work, family, trade, and school. But booking a ticket still means showing up at a bus station, calling an agent, or asking around. There's no easy way to search routes, compare prices, get a digital ticket, or book from another country.
Bukra connects passengers with bus operators and airlines on one platform, through the web or WhatsApp. We support mobile money (MTN MoMo, M-Pesa, Airtel Money, T-Money, Flooz) because that's how people pay. And we work in English, French, Arabic, and Swahili because that's what people speak.
The goal is simple. Booking a Juba to Kampala bus should feel as easy as booking any flight online. Africa's transport market is ready for it.

I'm from South Sudan. I started Bukra after a trip in 2023 where I traveled overland from South Sudan to Burundi for a visa. I had to cross four countries, all on manual booking systems. Fragmented operators, delays, breakdowns, and no way to rebook when things went wrong. That trip made the problem impossible to ignore.
The gap is on both sides. Travelers can't easily book across borders, and most bus operators still run on paper. Bukra is a simple, mobile-first platform that lets people book buses and flights across Africa, and gives operators the digital tools to run their business properly.

Travelers can search, book, and pay for bus and flight tickets from the web or WhatsApp. Operators get a digital operations layer for route management, real-time booking dashboards, passenger manifests, revenue tracking, and multi-channel ticket distribution. Bukra earns a commission on each completed booking.
